The range of water sports available on the beach could not be more extensive – sport diving, surfing, sailing, water and jet skiing, paragliding or canoes and pedalos leave no wish unfulfilled. The golf options in the vicinity of the resort are also 1st-class. Free buses are used to shuttle guests to the 3 18-hole courses, Aphrodite Hills, Secret Valley and Tsada, where they benefit from attractive green fee discounts.<br /><br />The indigenous flora and fauna are of great interest to nature lovers. The cliffs to the east of the bay are a well-known breeding ground for the Griffon Vulture. The island is a veritable treasure trove of antiquities, reflecting the different cultures to have left their mark on Cyprus.<br /><br />Many sites are just a few minutes drive away. Inland, the Troodos Mountains offer opportunities for skiing during the winter months and all-year rambling on the numerous nature walks. Similarly worthy of a visit are some of the picturesque mountain villages and traditional Orthodox monasteries.
